Alyssa’s Bridal Makeup

Alyssa rarely wears makeup in her everyday life and shared she had a bit of anxiety going into it. The day of her makeup trial we went to Ulta, picked out a foundation, concealer, mascara, and lip color that she could wear for her special day, and in everyday life.

At first, Alyssa wasn’t sure want she wanted for eyeshadow, so I showed her two options: mauve shades that matched the lining of her dress, and warm brown and gold shades that matched the warm undertones of her skin. After seeing one look on each eye, we liked the gold best! Since she is not used to wearing makeup, I suggested we try individual eyelashes instead of a full strip. She felt she didn’t look like herself with too much volume, so we just kept it simple with three individual lashes in her outer corners.

The overall look was soft-glam, while still looking youthful and natural. Alyssa glowed from the inside out!
